CLEANING

We want you to enjoy your stay at Glenlockhart Cottage in the knowledge that you are in a clean environment

We have always adhered to the very highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness, however as a result of the coronavirus pandemic we have included the following ongoing special measures and additional cleaning procedures

We have a 24 hour gap between guest check-outs and incoming guest check-ins. This allows us ample time for the additional cleaning measures detailed below. The 24 hour gap is automatically blocked out in our online availability calendar as bookings are made

Surfaces such as toilet, shower, basin, kitchen sink and work surfaces are steam cleaned and sanitised

All other surfaces are cleaned and sanitised, including tables, chairs, door handles, light switches, appliances, stair handrail, remote controls, rubbish bins, keys and key fobs

The cottage is thoroughly ventilated between bookings and during the cleaning process

All bed linen, bathroom and kitchen towels are washed at temperatures of 60 degrees centigrade

All crockery, cutlery, glassware and cookware are washed at temperatures of 60 degrees centigrade between bookings

We continue to greet guests on arrival however the process is contactless and we maintain social distancing

Guest information is available to download if you prefer, rather than in a folder

We look forward to welcoming you to Glenlockhart Cottage!
